The Community Futures East Central (ECDC) is mandated to enhance economic development by assisting businesses through the Provincial and technical services.


Meeting community goals of:
-Increased employment by assisting small and medium enterprises
-Improved small business access to management training and counselling
-Increased awareness of business opportunities and Government program availability.


Loan Investment Fund :
- Term loans to a maximum of $75,000.00
- Fixed interest rate set by the Small Business Loan Act
- A one-time 2% administration fee is added to the loan or paid up front
- Loan funds managed and administered through a local board of directors
- Loans are available to all types of businesses.
- Loans often in partnership with other conventional lenders.
- Disabled Entrepreneur Loans


Business Development Services :
- Provides assistance with business idea development
- Research and assistance with business plan development
- Counselling/Mentoring services for all types of businesses.
- Referral to other Government programs and assistance agencies
- Statistical database related to market expenditure and small business ratios.

- We are strategically linked with Regional Colleges, REDA's and Government Services delivery agencies.
- Work closely with Community Economic Development Groups.
- Actively participate in Western Economic Diversification's Business Service Alliance.

Do you need help to start your own business? 
Or perhaps you are thinking of expanding your current business?

The Saskatchewan Small Business Loans Program supports community economic development by making funds available to entrepreneurs.
If you are interested in starting a small business that would create jobs and add services to our community, you need to talk to us. 

The Small Business Loans Program has provided assistance to serveral local businesses over the past years.  Loans of up to $15,000 at interest rate of 5% and repayable over 5 years are available to qualified applicants.
Also, if you are 18 - 34 years of age you may qualify for an additional loan of up to $15,000 through the Canadian Youth Business Foundation.
